🚀 Microsoft has announced the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot, your copilot for work. Copilot combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with your data in the Microsoft Graph to turn your words into the most powerful productivity tool on the planet. Copilot is integrated into Microsoft 365 in two ways, embedded in the Microsoft 365 apps you use every day and an entirely new experience called Business Chat. Business Chat works across the LLM, the Microsoft 365 apps, and your data to do things you’ve never been able to do before. Recent GitHub data shows that among developers who have used GitHub Copilot, 88 percent say they are more productive, 77 percent say the tool helps them spend less time searching for information, and 74 percent say they can focus their efforts on more satisfying work. 🔥💼
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a productivity tool that is integrated into the apps you use every day, allowing you to focus on important work and less on busy work. It works alongside you to unleash creativity, unlock productivity, and uplevel skills.

Building responsibly
Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI-powered system designed for enterprise needs, built on decades of research on privacy-preserving machine learning and guided by Microsoft's AI principles and Responsible AI Standard. The system is reviewed by a multidisciplinary team to mitigate potential harms. Copilot inherits an organization's security, compliance, and privacy policies for Microsoft 365, and large language models are not trained on tenant data. The system prioritizes human agency and puts the user in control by providing links to sources, noting limitations, and prompting users to review, fact-check, and fine-tune content based on their own knowledge and judgment.
